Our Policy for Contagious Illness & Return to Programs
To support the wellbeing of every child and the wider Shining Rays community, we kindly ask families to follow the recommended recovery periods for contagious illnesses.
– Measles — 8 days
– Mumps — 10 days
– Chickenpox — 10 days
– Dengue Fever — 7 days
– Viral Fever — 5 days
– Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease (HFMD) — 7–10 days, or as advised by the attending physician
Children are warmly welcomed back to Daycare, Preschool, Afterschool, and Activity Programs once:
- The recommended recovery period has been completed
- They have fully recovered and are feeling well
- A medical fitness certificate from a registered physician has been provided
